Abstract:
A new patch panel for distributing the HV (up to 500V) to the silicon sensors of the Preshower has been developed and is in production (January 2012). 16 HVPP boards distribute the HV from 384 individual CAEN HV channels (32 x A1511B CAEN modules) to around 2500 HV "lines" to the sensors.
The mapping of the HV channels to lines has been optimized to balance the load (current) per channel. Now that the previously-unplugged sensors all seem to be behaving we can reduce the complexity of the mapping to just 4 types of layout.

Work should be done during the September 2012 Technical Stop
