- Abstract:
- This presentation describes CERN, particle physics and the LHC to younger audiences (featuring helicopters and dinosaurs!)
As it is aimed at 14-18 year olds, the presentation is rather basic.
Indeed it can also be easily adapted for younger audiences (e.g. 10-11) by omitting slides 14, 17, 18, 19, 26, 32 and 35. Duration: 45-60 minutes, depending on the audience. These are working files. Public/final documents are accessible in CDS: https://cds.cern.ch/record/2628648
